Chef Phillip Levy, principal and owner of PSL Services, has provided personal and private chef services to households and small businesses for more than 15 years.

Based in the Denver Metro area, Chef Phil has a knack for customizing menus based on the food and nutritional needs of his clients. All foods are prepared from scratch and created to meet the specific needs of the client while fulfilling any special dietary needs. Dairy free, gluten free, low carb, food allergy, kosher, high protein are just a few of the special diets that can be prepared.

Chef Phil and PSL Services provide an array of culinary services that may include: Weekly meal services (short or long term), distinct events such as gallery openings, fundraiser events as well as unique, intimate occasions such as holiday gatherings, family reunions, or other private catering events. Cooking instruction is also offered for individual or group instruction.

Chef Phil’s Story: Chef Phil’s culinary training started when he was a small boy assisting his mother and grandmother to prepare holiday meals. While hanging onto Apron Strings his tasks included cracking and grinding nuts, peeling potatoes, and carrots, while paying close attention to the work of his master's. These recipes and skills are still used by him today. Working with his mother and grandmother is where his love and passion for food developed and his belief “food does more than nourish the body, it feeds the soul.”

While formalizing his training at Kendall College in the Chicago area, Chef Phil has held many kitchen jobs and an array of different operations. This offered the opportunity to learn and work with some of the top chefs in both their kitchens and classrooms. Before moving to Denver in December 1994, the chef worked for Chicago's top fine dining as a caterer and also served as a culinary intern at the Ritz-Carlton in Aspen. Prior to starting PSL services in 2000, he led kitchens in some of Denver's top restaurants and Country Club. Since creating PSL Services he has worked and continues to work with many Denver families, small businesses, and members of Denver professional sports teams.
